Figure out how easy or hard it is to use the app and search for a specific topic in the art history.
We made unmoderated research on a group of participant to figure out how they reach a specific information they are looking for and found out that you usually use Wikipedia and some other sources and that they would prefer if there were a resource specialized in the history of art.

The hero banner played a big role in the app as it’s the first thing that gets the user eye once he opens the app, and if he didn’t come to look for a specific thing this time he can discover interesting topics which are picked on his search history and personal preferences.

As its a history of art the topics were sorted based on the date, this filter is fixed on the left side so the user can scroll to the date he is interested in

In addition to the date sort the user can sort the content based on different categories to find the best match of his interest, for example if the user would like to see the history of art in regards to the art school he can apply school filter and follow the timeline
Note: the types of sort are recognized as tags to have a linked data base
